You'll be responsible for safely operating cranes with grapples, shears, and magnets to load scrap into balers, as well as sorting and organizing materials for processing.</p><p><br></p><p>The job involves physical labor and outdoor work, but it also offers a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from mastering your machine and contributing to team success.</p><p><br></p><p>Key responsibilities include:</p><p><br></p><ul><li>Performing daily equipment inspections and minor maintenance.</li><li>Maintaining clear communication with team members to coordinate crane movements.</li><li>Adhering strictly to safety procedures and yard protocols.</li></ul><h2>Qualifications and Skills</h2><p><br></p><p>We are looking for a Crane Operator with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a scrap or recycling yard, or similar setting. You should be proficient with grapple and magnet attachments, and possess a strong understanding of industrial safety procedures.</p><p><br></p><p>Reliability, focus, and a commitment to teamwork are essential.
