We're on the hunt for an Outside Sales / Metal Procurement Representative to help grow our customer base, source quality scrap metal, and represent M&amp;M Recycling with professionalism and energy. You'll play a key role in identifying, visiting, and managing accounts across a 150-mile radius of our Locust Grove facility. This is a boots-on-the-ground sales role where your work ethic, knowledge, and people skills will lead the way. We also offer career and leadership tracks, and opportunities for education and advancement within our family-run company! <h3>What You'll Do:</h3><ul><li>Develop new business relationships with industrial and commercial</li><li>Visit customer locations and build long-term partnerships for ongoing ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal procurement</li><li>Track and maintain leads, activities, and opportunities using our CRM system</li><li>Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market prices and material requirements</li><li>Conduct on-site evaluations to assess material quality and volume</li><li>Work collaboratively with our dispatch, yard, and trading teams to ensure seamless service to your customers</li><li>Report to the Head of Outside Sales and provide weekly activity updates and forecasts</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For:</h3><ul><li>3+ years of outside sales experienceindustry experience is a major plus</li><li>Knowledge of ferrous and non-ferrous metals and familiarity with scrap yard operations</li><li>Strong communication and negotiation skills</li><li>CRM experience</li><li>Excellent time management and territory planning</li><li>A true self-starter who is goal-oriented and results-driven</li><li>Must have reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement provided)</li><li>Ability to work outdoors, visit customer sites, and occasionally inspect materials hands-on</li><li>Strong understanding of pricing, weight, and grading standards in the scrap industry</li></ul><h3>What You'll Get:</h3><ul><li>Competitive base salary: $55K$60K/year</li><li>Opportunity to earn bonuses and incentives as you grow your book of business</li><li>Mileage reimbursement and support for tools needed to succeed</li><li>Full-time schedule with weekends off</li><li>Career growth potential in a fast-growing, family-run company that values progress, production, and people</li></ul>If you're ready to turn relationships into results and build a rewarding career in metal procurement, apply today and join the M&amp;M Recycling team!
