<h2>Non-Ferrous Shipping &amp; Receiving Warehouse Associate</h2><p><br></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Locust Grove, GA<br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Schedule:</strong> Monday-Friday 7:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. | Saturday 8:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.<br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> $1100/week with career growth opportunities</p><h3><br></h3><h3>About the Role</h3><p><br></p><p>M&amp;M Recycling is seeking an experienced <strong>Non-Ferrous Shipping &amp; Receiving Warehouse Associate</strong> to support daily operations in our non-ferrous warehouse. This role is critical to ensuring accurate material handling, inventory control, and outbound shipments of non-ferrous metals. This is <strong>not a general warehouse position</strong>--prior warehouse experience and familiarity with metal materials are required.</p><p>This position offers both a <strong>skilled warehouse career</strong> and the opportunity to grow into advanced non-ferrous, inventory, or leadership roles over time.</p><p><br></p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks safely and efficiently</li><li>Identify, sort, and grade non-ferrous metals (including copper, aluminum, brass, stainless, and alloys)</li><li>Prepare material for shipment, including palletizing, banding, labeling, and staging loads</li><li>Assist with outbound shipments to mills and export containers</li><li>Accurately update inventory using company software and tracking systems</li><li>Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scales, and other warehouse equipment</li><li>Maintain organization, cleanliness, and material flow within the non-ferrous warehouse</li><li>Support inventory counts, reconciliation, and documentation</li><li>Follow all OSHA, company safety, and PPE requirements</li></ul><h3>Required Experience &amp; Qualifications</h3><ul><li><strong>Prior warehouse experience required</strong></li><li>Scrap metal or non-ferrous material experience strongly preferred </li><li>Ability to accurately identify non-ferrous metals </li><li>Forklift experience required (certification or ability to obtain) </li><li>Comfortable using scales, inventory systems, and basic computer software</li><li>Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul><h3>Physical &amp; Work Environment Requirements</h3><ul><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs</li><li>Standing, bending, climbing, and working on your feet for extended periods</li><li>Indoor warehouse and outdoor yard environment</li><li>Exposure to heat, cold, dust, and noise typical of a scrap metal operation</li><li>Required use of PPE including steel-toe boots, gloves, eye protection, and hearing protection</li></ul><h3>Safety &amp; Hiring Requirements</h3><ul><li>Pre-employment drug screening</li><li>Background check</li><li>Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)</li><li>OSHA and company safety training provided</li></ul><h3>Career Growth</h3><p>This role can remain a <strong>skilled warehouse position</strong> or grow into opportunities such as:</p><ul><li>Non-ferrous inventory or shipping lead</li><li>Advanced material grading and processing</li><li>Non-ferrous buying or warehouse leadership</li></ul>
