Position: Small Scale Metal Buyer &amp; Customer Service Assistant Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM 5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM 12:00 PM Location: Atlanta, Georgia Type: Full-Time | On-Site | Opportunities for Advancement Experience: Industry experience required <h3>What You'll Do:</h3><ul><li>Greet and assist customers unloading non-ferrous scrap material</li><li>Weigh, grade, and evaluate scrap using proper techniques and tools</li><li>Provide accurate pricing based on current market values and company standards</li><li>Deliver top-notch customer service to individual and industrial clients</li><li>Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working area</li><li>Assist with general labor and processing tasks in the non-ferrous division</li><li>Work closely under the direction of the Scrap Yard Manager and support team operations as needed</li></ul><h3>What We're Looking For:</h3><ul><li>Knowledge of non-ferrous metals (e.g., copper, brass, aluminum, wire, etc.) and basic grading practices</li><li>Experience in the scrap metal industry is strongly preferred</li><li>Comfortable working in a hands-on, outdoor environment</li><li>Strong work ethic and willingness to learn</li><li>Excellent communication and customer service skills</li><li>Ability to lift, sort, and move materials safely and efficiently</li><li>Team-oriented and dependable</li><li>Experience on forklifts, balers, shears, cutting torches, etc and familiar with other industry equipment</li></ul><h3>Why Join Us:</h3><ul><li>Supportive, team-based environment</li><li>Opportunities to grow within a well-established scrap metal recycling company</li><li>Be part of an essential and sustainable industry</li></ul>Ready to make an impact in a high-energy, fast-paced environment?
